Founded in 2016 by Colorado Springs esthetician Elise Pusbach, The Pink Canoe isn’t just a studio; we're a community. Our goal is to provide a haven for estheticians to learn, grow, and love what they do. Rooted in non-toxic principles, we bring luxury waxing and skincare to everyone.
The Pink Canoe Studio offers luxury, judgment-free beauty services in a warm, welcoming space. From expert waxing to holistic skin care, our mission is to make you feel seen, supported, and radiant—every time you walk through our door.
Meet Elise – Owner & Integrative Esthetician
With nearly 20 years in the esthetics industry, Elise is the founder of The Pink Canoe Studio and a true expert in skin health. She specializes in expert waxing and corrective skincare, blending science-backed treatments with a holistic approach rooted in non-toxic living and whole-body wellness.
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Elise is inspired by nature both in her skincare philosophy and daily life. She’s an outdoor enthusiast who loves camping with her husband Andrew and their two kids and two dogs. At home, she’s surrounded by 107 houseplants (and yes, she knows all their names).
The Pink Canoe is truly a family-owned studio. Elise’s daughter Lexi helps at the front desk in the summers, and her husband handles the behind-the-scenes numbers and operations.
Her favorite treatment? SkinPen Microneedling—because it packs a punch and delivers incredible results.
At The Pink Canoe, Elise has created a space where results meet relaxation and every visit feels like coming home.
Amy Gordy, Studio Manager
Amy joined The Pink Canoe Studio at the perfect time, and she’s been a true blessing ever since. With years of managerial experience, she’s brought structure, organization, and calm leadership to our growing team. From day one, it felt like she was meant to be here.
Her connection to Elise’s late grandmother and the many little synchronicities in her story made her arrival feel nothing short of divine.
Outside the studio, Amy is a proud wife, mom, and grandmother. She loves spending weekends at the motocross track cheering on her grandsons and relaxing at home with her two Golden Retrievers and husband, Lance.
We’re so grateful to have her leading our front desk with heart, grace, and a whole lot of love.
Angelina, Licensed Esthetician
Angelina is a standout esthetician at The Pink Canoe Studio, known for her precision, warmth, and talent. She’s earned the title of Brow Queen for her sculpting skills and love for our Total Brow Transformation—and she’s quickly become a Laser Queen too, delivering smooth results with confidence and care.
With years of experience, Angelina also offers expert waxing and is known for giving the dreamiest facial massage.
When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find her hanging out with friends, barbecuing with her family, or relaxing with her dog and cat.
Gianna – Licensed Esthetician
Gianna is a licensed esthetician with a bright, upbeat energy that makes every client feel comfortable and cared for. She has a natural touch when it comes to waxing and is committed to delivering smooth, detailed results with a gentle and professional approach.
Gianna’s goal is to make every appointment feel like a moment of self-care and confidence-building. When she’s not in the treatment room, she loves camping, working out, and cooking. Her favorite color is pink, which couldn’t be more fitting for The Pink Canoe vibe.
Nicole – Licensed Esthetician
Nicole is a licensed esthetician known for her calm presence and meticulous attention to detail. She offers beautifully lifted lashes, clean and precise waxing, and thoughtful client care from start to finish. Nicole is also trained in brow laminations and takes pride in creating polished, natural-looking results.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys reading, movie nights, hiking, and soaking up the sun by the lake. Her favorite color is yellow — a perfect match for her warm and sunny personality.

Medical Director
Dr. Edward Cobb, a committed healthcare provider, introduces cutting-edge, scientifically-driven treatments to the community of Colorado Springs, CO. Graduating from Cornell University in 2010, he completed his Anesthesiology residency in Brooklyn in 2014. Dr. Cobb has conducted research in the laboratories of Dr. John Baxter and Dr. Maria New, both pioneers in hormone science. His diverse experiences include working with ketamine in the FDNY Burn Center, contributing to medical initiatives in East Africa, and assisting pain patients in Pueblo, CO. Additionally, Dr. Cobb provides Anesthesia services at Benefis East Hospital in Great Falls, MT. His Wellness Medicine practice is based in Colorado Springs.
As the medical director of The Pink Canoe, Dr. Cobb plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of all services provided. While he does not perform treatments himself, he offers invaluable guidance and oversight, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. His dedication to advancing healthcare and commitment to excellence greatly enhance the quality of our services.
